Explore the wonders of Grand Canyon National Park from the sky and from the very edge with this sightseeing airplane flight that includes a thrilling helicopter tour. Your flight to the Grand Canyon South Rim departs from the Boulder City air terminal outside of Las Vegas. Passengers will board a fixed-wing plane for a scenic flight over the colossal Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, and the natural curves of the Colorado River en route to the Grand Canyon.
Once you land at the Grand Canyon South Airport, you’ll board a helicopter for even more aerial views of the North and South Rim of the canyon. You’ll see a panoramic view of the entire landscape, from the colorful majestic canyon walls to the winding Colorado River below. You’ll even fly over the deepest region of the park!
Return to the heliport and continue your tour with ground transportation to the most famous lookout points in the National Park. You’ll ride in style aboard a customized military-style Hummer vehicle featuring a convertible roof in the warmer weather. Enjoy a light complimentary lunch as you marvel at the sights and explore the rim. Return to our terminal and board your airplane for the journey back to Las Vegas. - Bring your I.D. - All passengers booked on a tour must have government issued forms of identification.
- Be sure to book your tour as early in your trip as possible.
- Water: You may bring a bottle of water, however the bottle is not allowed to be opened in the aircraft.
- Don’t forget your camera! Cameras and phones are allowed and encouraged, but please be aware that the use of "Selfie Sticks" and extending camera poles are strictly prohibited in and around the aircraft.
- Not sure what to wear? Layered clothing is recommended through the months of March to September, and winter clothing should be worn from October to mid-March.
- Wear sensible shoes. The ground at the Grand Canyon is rough, rocky and uneven. It is important to wear sturdy, toe-covering shoes that can handle rough terrain. Sneakers or hiking boots are highly recommended.
